PSALM 23: 5
“THOU PREPARES A TABLE BEFORE ME
IN THE PRESENT OF MY ENEMIES;                                                THOU ANOINTED MY HEAD WITH OIL,                                            MY CUP OVERFLOWS.”
It is observed that most human react when angry in their own ways most especially when they feel betrayed or cheated, forgetting that they have a miraculous God who has already prepared a table before them in the presence of their enemies and has also anointed their heads with oil.
If you think your vengeance will make you feel better yes, you may be right but that feeling is only for a short while, you are just making yourself go through unnecessary stress that will in a long run lead to pain and regret.

A good example is my dad, a man who leaves everything into God’s hand. Since I was born into this world, all I’ve heard my dad say to my mum whenever they have a “parental” argument and my mum refuses to listen to him, he says “ALL IS WELL”.

Observing this parental scene, it is seen that my mum do all the talking and argument while my dad commits all the talk to God by saying all is well and before a blink , everything is settled and this brings about God’s intervention.
Imagine if both parent argue and argue without them calming down and realizing that the devil is at work, this might lead to separation, divorce, malice or uncontrollable anger which may lead to fight, stabbing, and death.
The question now is; do you know and believe that God has prepared a table before you in the presence of your enemies and has anointed your head with oil so as to control your anger in order not to be celebrated by the devil.
EPHESIANS 4:26 & 27 says; “Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil”.
“Silence is the best answer for a fool like the devil but prayer is the best action of the wise”.  Ifeyi Gift.

LIVING A FOOT PRINT FOR YOUR TOMORROW

I went to a friend room to spend some time, we talked about teen’s stuffs but fortunately we started talking about spiritual things that has happened to us and things our family members are going through and she said something “there are somethings in this world that people do unnecessary, I don’t go clubbing because I was asked not to go or because I didn’t see the opportunity, the reason I don’t go clubbing is because it is not necessary”. She also said she can’t do things she won’t want to see her children doing.

Now the question for us teenagers is this:                                Can you allow your own future children to go clubbing at their teens age?                                                                                 Won’t you be proud to tell your child as a mother that their father met you a virgin that they should stay pure?          Would you like to see them smoking at their teenager age?                                                                                             Can you be proud to introduce them to a friend of an opposite sex whom you knew from secondary school or university?                                                                                           Can you boldly tell them to follow your way of life?
If yes, you are good to go but if No then you have to check your life, there’s Grace for change. All hope is not lost; avoid doing unnecessary things, so that in future your children will be proud to say: that’s my parent who thought me how to overcome my challenges through their life.

UNDERSTANDING THE WORD OF GOD
PSALM 23: 6
“SURELY, GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME

ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE;

AND I SHALL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD                                                                    FOREVER”
A friend of mine who happens to be my  floor chaplain spoke about this verse “psalm 23;6” and I am so glad to share it to my fellow individuals because it made me know that knowing the word of God is about having a clear revelation of the Bible.
It’s a common verse known by us Christians whereby, it is been added at the end of most of our prayers. But do you know that we live by grace due to the coming of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament.
Now, the question is, “why do people still say “Goodness and Mercy shall follow me” “I shall dwell in the House of the Lord”” when it is clearly stated in the Bible that “OUR BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF CHRIST”.
If the Bible is well understood, it is not about changing the words of God but bringing the word of God to reality.
To me, God has already given us that Goodness and Mercy that is to follow us all the days of our life and we are enjoying, and we are already dwelling in the house of the Lord.

JAMES 4:17
“WHOEVER KNOWS WHAT IS RIGHT TO DO AND FAILS TO DO IT, FOT HIM IT IS A SIN”.
This means that even an unbeliever probably not a Christian who does things that the world thinks is a sin and he/she does not know it a sin, he/she is not a sinner but for those who knows the good from the bad and still get involve in bad deeds is seen as a sinner by God.
Now a friend of mine asked a question during a devotion we had together on the 4th of feb.,2016 that “as a student of a university or secondary school knowing that stabbing of class is not right, is it then a sin not to attend classes  for unnecessary and a useless reason”
For me, it is a sin because the bible didn’t specify the right and the bad, it says that what you know is right to do and you fail to do it, it is a sin.
